| I am new to this , so I hope the sifus can help me out a bit. I got a brand new grey color G. livina. So what products to recommend and is claying / polishing necessary for new cars? I plan to get the NXT gen car wash, NXT gen Tech Wax as my first purchase. what is priority no 3? Quik wax or Quik detailer? I'm a bit confused. I heard that the Quik wax is required as step 3 after wash-wax-quik wax to have a longer lasting protection right? How to remove dried bird poo or tree stain, stubborn stains? Quik Detailer? Thks a lot.. |

Hi xchris, congratulations on your new ride purchase and welcome to the forum. New cars come in variable paint condition. How much you want to do to your new ride depends on what's your expectation level. I would highly recommend you to purchase the Smooth Surface Clay Kit to give your paint a thorough clean.

The third priority would be Ultimate Quik Wax. Apply this after each car wash and it'll stretch the interval between waxing.

If possible, rinse plenty of water to soften the bird poo or other contaminants. While rinsing, use a piece of wet microfiber cloth to slowly agitate the dirt, make sure you do not apply any force but just enough to move the dirt away. Under emergency circumstances, you may use Quik Detailer to replace the water. _________________ Zey's Car Detailing Photography Blog |

Congratulations to you once more! The first Meguiar's product I bought 10 years ago was the Cleaner/Wax. Not much choice then but it was a good start. You're lucky!
